Organizations

Organizations allow teams to collaborate on plugin development with shared projects, content, and publishing capabilities.

What Are Organizations?

An Organization is a shared workspace that includes:

  • Members with different access levels
  • Shared Projects visible to the team
  • Shared Content (samples, images, etc.)
  • Publishing under the organization name

Creating an Organization

  1. Go to Account → Organizations
  2. Click Create Organization
  3. Enter organization details:
    • Name - Display name
    • Slug - URL-friendly identifier
    • Avatar - Organization icon
  4. Click Create

You automatically become the Owner of organizations you create.

Inviting Members

  1. Open Organization Settings
  2. Go to Members tab
  3. Click Invite Member
  4. Enter their email address
  5. Select a role
  6. Send invitation

Invitees receive an email to join.

Organization Projects

Creating Org Projects

When creating a project, you can assign it to an organization:

  1. File → New Project
  2. Under Organization, select your org
  3. The project is now owned by the organization

Project Visibility

Organization projects have three visibility levels:

Transferring Projects

Move personal projects to an organization:

  1. Open the project
  2. File → Project Settings
  3. Under Owner, select the organization
  4. Confirm the transfer

Shared Content

Organizations have a shared content library:

Uploading Shared Content

  1. Content → Organization Library
  2. Click Upload
  3. Select files
  4. Content is available to all org members

Using Shared Content

In any org project, access shared content:

  1. Open content picker (e.g., in Sampler node)
  2. Switch to Organization tab
  3. Browse and select shared content

Publishing

Organizations can publish plugins to the marketplace:

  1. Complete your plugin
  2. File → Publish
  3. Select Organization as publisher
  4. Fill in marketplace listing details
  5. Submit for review

Published plugins appear under the organization name.

Billing

Organization billing is managed by Owners:

  • Account → Organization → Billing
  • View usage and invoices
  • Update payment methods
  • Manage subscription tier

Leaving an Organization

Members can leave anytime:

  1. Account → Organizations
  2. Find the organization
  3. Click Leave

Owners must transfer ownership before leaving.

Deleting an Organization

Only Owners can delete:

  1. Organization Settings → Danger Zone
  2. Click Delete Organization
  3. Type the organization name to confirm
  4. All org projects and content are deleted

Warning: This cannot be undone.

Best Practices

  • Use clear role assignments - Give members appropriate access
  • Organize shared content - Use folders and naming conventions
  • Coordinate on projects - Communicate about who’s working on what
  • Back up important work - Export critical projects locally
